Pilot Programs

Pilot programs are government initiatives developed to test and assess the viability and effectiveness of new pathways and policies. These programs are designed to address the specific economic and demographic needs of particular areas and communities. These pilot programs are created to bring in unskilled, semi-skilled, and skilled foreign workers to address these shortages, and thus, also create permanent residence pathways. Pilot Programs also serve to gather data and insights that may contribute to the future creation and development of Canadian immigration programs and policies.
